Phase I:  Initial Set-up of a Library

    The initial cost of 1000 books is around 8,000 Yuan (U$S 1,000.00).

    We add 100 Pastoral Bibles 1,600 Yuan (U$S 200.00 – subsidized price).

    So for every parish for the first year 9,600 Yuan (U$S 1,200.00) will be needed.

Phase II:  Library Resources Update

    The following years some new books should be added to the libraries:

          a. Spiritual books: 2,000 Yuan per year, per Parish.

          b. Inspirational books and books specially prepared for peasants 
               that can be purchased from local bookstores: 2,000 Yuan per year.

          c. Books from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Claretian Publications:
              4,000 Yuan per year.

 Thus, for every PARISH LIBRARY

Phase I: 9,600 Yuan
Phase II: 8,000 Yuan
